The League
The League is intentionally sculpted as a set of colleges and universities with different histories, traditions, missions, and perspectives. Each is dedicated to academic excellence and to the League’s mission.

The Mission
In service of this goal, the League brings together cohorts of Reconciliation Fellows from the League schools for several weeks to experience an innovative, rigorous curriculum designed to foster in them an ability to reckon with competing familiar and unfamiliar ideas and to engage in a genuinely dialogic conversation about them.
These students — drawn as they will be from the generation inheriting the challenge of healing the polarization plaguing society — thereby will emerge from the experience both with the skills necessary to facilitate this healing and with the intellectual humility, curiosity, passion and dexterity to become disciples of debate and dialogue.
Having completed this training, the Fellows may be welcomed into a Reconciliation Corps, connected over time in their efforts to foster productive discourse in the institutions and communities they inhabit and, in many cases, lead.
The Fellowship Program
Tuition, room, board, and the retreat: all costs covered.
Transferable to your home school, according to its rules.

Fellows are selected by their League member school or by an at-large selection process.
The Curriculum
01A shared course on the problems and methods of reconciliation, taken by every Fellow.
02A traditional honors seminar with a leading scholar, from international law to the chemistry of cooking.
03Informal evening sessions with the League’s Senior Fellows, in residence throughout the program.
04An off-the-grid, team-building retreat that puts the program’s ideas into practice.
05A group project carried back to each Fellow’s campus and community in the Fall semester.
06The full cohort reconvenes in January to report on projects and plan ahead.
Selection for the inaugural Summer 2027 cohort begins in the Fall semester.
